Q: How much will it cost to pass my Driving Test?ANSWER: This depends on the individual. As a guide The Driving Standards Agency says that, on average, you will need approx 2 hours of professional tuition for every year of your age, i.e. the average 20 year old will need 40 hours. You’ll also need to pay your theory and practical test fees. A sensible budget to work on is approximately £1000.
Q: Can I be picked up and dropped off in different places?ANSWER: Yes, if required it can usually be arranged that the drop off point is a different location than pick-up. Ideal for pick-up from work, drop off at home or pick-up from home drop off in town, etc. This must be within my working area and will be dependent on the location of the next lesson, so must be arranged beforehand.
Q: How do I book my test?ANSWER: You have to book both your theory and practical tests with the Driving Standards Agency, which is the government department responsible for carrying out all driving tests in England, Scotland and Wales.
